THE STORY
The morning began with the couple getting ready separately, with the groom spending time with friends downtown while the bride prepared at home.
They shared their first look at Pinebrook Golf Course, with some of their closest friends watching from a distance. It was a beautiful moment that captured both their connection and the excitement of everyone around them.

One of the most memorable parts of The Stat'z wedding was how fully they embraced every moment.
With their portraits completed before the ceremony, they were able to spend cocktail hour celebrating alongside their guests.
Their reception was filled with speeches that brought both laughter and tears, and a room full of people who had known and loved them through so many different chapters of life.
A particularly personal detail was the antique fire truck brought in to honour the groom's connection to firefighting.
It was a day filled with thoughtful touches, genuine emotion, and the kind of happiness that comes from being surrounded by people who truly know you.

What stood out most to me about photographing The Stat'z was how intentionally they approached their wedding day.
They wanted beautiful photographs, but more importantly, they wanted to look back and remember being fully present with the people they love.
We planned their photography timeline around that priority, allowing enough time for their first look, couple portraits, wedding party photographs, and family photos before the ceremony.
This gave them the freedom to enjoy cocktail hour without needing to step away for additional portraits.
